Happening Bo4Kids

Last Wednesday, Bo4Kids organized a large-scale happening on the beach of Blankenberge. Over 500 pre-schoolers participated in the event. Under the guidance of artist Dalila Gonçalves, they created a large pattern in the sand, based on the typical belle époque cement tile.

This project came forth from a cooperation with the city of Blankenberge  and the participating schools.

Photo Contest #beaufort04 - Zoom in on the summer!

Visual art in a coastal setting: the ideal occasion for a wonderful photo series, don’t you think? From July 1 to August 31, Beaufort04 in cooperation with KBC organizes a photo contest. Take part and win an iPad! All you have to do, is take a picture with your smartphone, tag it with #beaufort04 and share it via Instagram. On August 31, photographer Jimmy Kets will select the best 3 photos.

Opening Storm Thorgerson

From June 22 until September 1, A&Gallery presents an impressive exhibition of the work of Storm Thorgerson in Fort Napoleon in Oostende.  Thorgerson is famous for his record sleeve designs for bands like Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. Over 80 iconic images are exhibited.

Sandworm almost repaired

Due to an unlucky blast of wind, Marco Casagrande’s Sandworm in Wenduine was severely damaged. Our team is working hard to repair the damage. The Sandworm will be open again in early July.
